A woman I worked with rode PALM for several years, with friends, in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s. She said it was great fun just taking your time biking through small town MI and meeting new people and getting in better shape as you trained for it each year. I thought it would be a great way to spend a week with friends, but didn’t have any cycling friends at the time. So thankful I mentioned it to a friend and she quickly agreed to join me, and brought her kids and husband along as well!

I first heard about PALM in 1985 at a local bike shop and thought I’d give it a try it. loved it! Couldn’t go again until 2018. Still loved it!

Do you have estimates of daily mileage?
Thanks, Janet Wood

Most days average 40-50 miles. There are a few around 35 miles (usually Friday) and a day or two during the week that may go as high as 60 miles if needed to travel safely between sites. Our routes will be posted to Ride With GPS soon!
