Regular PALM Registration is available from January 1st through May 10th or until the ride meets capacity.
Extended Registration is available from May 11th through the day before the start of the ride. It is important to note that registration fees are higher, some add-ons are no longer available, and there are NO refunds for any reason.

If I registered for PALM last year, will the system remember my username, password and profile information for the 2026 registration?
Yes! The PALM registration system will automatically fill in your profile if you registered before with the same username and password. You can correct any auto-filled information, like your phone number or address. If you registered for PALM before and today is between Jan. 1, 2026, and June 19, 2026, just click the PALM registration link on the website and select “Sign Up” to begin a new registration. You will still need to agree to the Waiver, choose your shirt size, and select any Add-Ons, like meals and bus transport, to complete the registration.
How do I register for PALM if I have not previously registered for PALM?
Registration should only take a few minutes and is user friendly!
You will need 3 things:
- A personal email address. (It will serve as your registrant name and will allow us to send you an email confirmation of your registration.)
- A valid credit/debit or prepaid card.
- An Internet connected device (such as a desktop, laptop, or smartphone) with a web browser (such as Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Safari, etc.) that enables you access to the PALM registration website.
If today’s date is between Jan. 1, 2026 and June 19, 2026 then just click on Registration on the PALM website.
You will see a Profile form for you to enter your name, email address, birth date and a few other basic identity items. You will also be asked to create a password. After this you scroll through, read and agree to the Assumption of Risk Agreement, Release of Liability and Indemnification Agreement (Waiver), make a Tour reservation and select your Tour shirt size.
You will also be able to select optional items:
- Meals package
- Bus ride before or after the tour
- Additional t-shirts
- PALM hat
- Private SAG parking permits
You will then proceed to a page showing a summary of your choices and the associated charges and fees. You MUST check the box acknowledging our refund policy for your registration to process successfully. Once you review your registration entries, you will be asked to enter credit/debit card information. After processing you will see the order confirmation page and can download / print the mandatory PALM Liability Waiver. You will also receive a confirmation e-mail.
How do I pay for the PALM registration?
You can pay for PALM with any major credit card, including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express, as well as Visa or MasterCard prepaid and debit cards. If you don’t have a credit card or prefer not to use one, you can buy a Visa or MasterCard Prepaid card at stores like Meijer, Walmart, Kroger, Family Dollar, Speedway, or Dollar General in Michigan, usually for a small fee or sometimes for free during promotions. No bank account or credit check is needed to buy the card. The prepaid card can then be used to pay for PALM registration.
Why does PALM only accept credit/debit and prepaid card payment?
Currently, the technology and practical limitations will only allow us to accept credit/debit card and prepaid card payment.
Will PALM accept cash, checks, PayPal or any type of digital currency as payment?
No, not for the 2026 Tour registration. In the future, we hope to be able to accommodate some of these forms of payment.
How can I confirm that I am registered for the PALM 2026 Tour?
Immediately upon completing your registration as described above, a confirmation email will be sent to your registration email address with a statement listing all of your choices, including the optional items, and their charges. At any time up to the start of the PALM Tour, you can log in and request to have your confirmation email sent again. Please remember that you will be required to present a printed and signed Waiver at the Saturday Tour check-in and packet pick up. The Waiver is available for download from the PALM website. Note that there are extra parent permission signature requirements for all minor (Under 18) Waivers.
Must all participants register for the PALM Tour?
Yes. Everyone who participates in the PALM Tour, including non-riders, will be required to fill out and complete the online Registration and provide a signed Assumption of Risk Agreement, Release of Liability and Indemnification Agreement (Waiver) at the Saturday check-in. Paper applications for the Tour will not be available and will no longer be accepted. Sub-Accounts (explained below) can be used to register multiple people using one username and password but each participant, including under age 18 minors, must present a properly signed Waiver at the Saturday check in and packet pick up.
What is a Sub-Account
A Sub-Account is a participant registration that uses the same email address and password as the primary account. A Sub-Account (created by using the “Add Another Registrant” box in the primary accounts Profile information page) is normally created for each of the family members of the primary account where a single credit or payment card is used to pay for all of the Sub-Accounts along with the primary account. All participants (including under age 18 Minors) must have their own registration (either a primary or sub-account) and a signed waiver for packet pick up at the PALM Saturday check in. A sub-account can be converted to a primary account, or vice-versa, at any time registration is open.
Is a signed waiver required?
Yes. PALM requires that each participant present a fully signed paper Waiver at the Saturday check in and packet pick up, (including both authorized parental permissions and sponsors of minor riders) to comply with our insurance provider requirements. Clicking the appropriate boxes during online registration is not enough.
Printed waivers will be available at check-in, Saturday June 21. If you are a non-parent sponsor, minor (under 18) waivers require parent signature.
Can participants make changes or updates to their registration?
You can make changes, updates or cancellations online from the start of registration on Jan. 1, 2026 up to, and including, the May 10, 2026 registration deadline. Note that you can cancel a registration within 15 minutes after your initial registration and all fees and charges will be canceled, i.e., no charges will be made to your credit card. Prior to the cutoff date of May 10, 2026 for changes or cancellations, you would go online to the PALM website, click on the registration link box and then log in to your account with your user name (email address) and password. Once logged in, you will be able to change your shirt size or any of your Add-On options without paying a fee. There is a $1 processing fee to cancel an Add-On option. You can also choose to cancel your Tour reservation (with a $25 PALM fee). You either pay with or receive a refund to your credit card for additions and cancellations. The original registration’s Processing Fee is not refundable at any time. After May 10, 2026, Tour reservations, shirt sizes and Add-On options cannot be canceled or changed and all sales are final. There are instructions below on how to make changes or cancellations to a Sub-Account by May 10, 2026. (A Sub-Account is a participant registration that uses the same email address and password as the primary account.)
How do I make changes to a Sub-Account?
The primary account holder should log-in to the primary account and go to the Profile page. One can do this by going to the PALM website and then clicking on the registration link, and then logging in to your account with your username and password. Once logged in you should click on the down arrow in the upper right corner of the web page and then Profile on the dropdown menu. When your Profile is displayed, you should be able to see all of the named Sub-Accounts as links on the bottom of the Profile page. Click edit next to the sub-account you want to modify. Make any changes to the sub-account and then click the Save button.
Can Registrants Update Their User Profile Information?
Yes. Participants can edit their PALM participant Profile information such as emergency contact, telephone numbers, street address, or change their password, until the Saturday check-in start of the PALM tour. (You cannot change your name, email address and birth date though) To make changes to your Profile, go online to the PALM website and log in to the registration process with your user-name (Your email address) and password. Once logged in you should click on the down arrow in the upper right corner of the web page and then Profile on the dropdown menu. When your Profile is displayed, click on the pencil icon in the upper right corner of the Profile. Be sure you have entered at least one emergency contact name and number and that you save your changes by clicking on the “Save” box at the bottom of the page.
Can Registrants Change a registration to a different name and user info?
Until June 12, 2026, PALM will allow you to give your registration, including any Add-Ons (options), to another person (Transfer) without charge. This transfer process is called a “bib” (Rider Number) exchange. To transfer your registration to another person as a “gift”, go online to the PALM website and log in to the registration process with your user name (Your email address) and password. Once logged in go to your Profile > Upcoming Events > Manage Registration > Transfer to Another Participant. On the Transfer to Another Participant page, you will be shown your Transfer Information. Please confirm the information is correct and accurate. After reviewing the transfer information, you can enter the Recipient Information. The recipient will then receive an email notification with a unique link which they can use to claim this transfer. When transferring a registration as a gift, you will not receive a refund of your original registration processing fee but your recipient is allowed to register free of charge.
Can I make changes or request a refund after May 10, 2026?
No. PALM does not allow changes, cancellations or refunds of a PALM registration after May 10th for any reason.
What can I do if I lose or misplace my password?
In case of a lost or forgotten password, you can open up the “Login” box at BikeSignup and click “Forgot Password?” At this point, you can enter in the email address you use to access your PALM account, and click on the button labeled “Reset Password”. After clicking the “Reset Password” button, you will receive an email with a unique link allowing you to reset the password for your PALM account. For security reasons, PALM does not have access to passwords used on the registration website.
Can I use my smartphone for Registration?
Yes. However, as is true of all devices, your registration process is occasionally subject to the quirks, including security issues, of the network, browser and device you are using. Also, keep in mind that you will be required to print the PALM waiver at some time before the Saturday, June 20, 2026, check in and packet pick up if you are a sponsor of a minor and not the parent of that minor.
How do I register for PALM if I do not have a computer or smartphone?
Almost all public libraries have computers available to their patrons. Alternatively, you could ask if a friend or relative could register you either as a primary account or as a sub-account to their existing account. Keep in mind that an email account (address), as well as a valid credit/debit or prepaid card is a requirement for PALM registration.
How do I volunteer for SAG or truck driving?

How do I search for a PALM bike tour participant?
The search request is done by clicking the “Find A Participant” link on the PALM registration landing page and requires that you enter either a name and birth date or an email address and birth date. For personal privacy and security reasons, PALM does not publish a list of participants.
What happens if PALM reaches the registration limit?
PALM will start a wait list that would notify users of cancellations that is based on their position in the wait list.
How can I get help for online registration questions not answered here?
You can email palmbiketour@yahoo.com and your message will be forwarded to our registration volunteer staff. We do not provide live telephone support for registration questions, but we will respond to your email question as soon as possible. Include a name and a callback number in your email as well as a message regarding the nature of your question or problem.
What are the processing fees assessed at registration?
RunSignUp charges processing fees to use their platform. Fees are based upon the total purchase price of the transaction on the scale noted below.

Is insurance available if I need to cancel my PALM bike tour reservation?
If you are concerned that you might need to cancel your PALM registration after the May 10 cancellation deadline, we encourage you to purchase travel insurance that will cover your costs if you need to cancel or leave the ride early. As stated earlier, PALM cannot refund fees for any reason after May 10. PALM does not offer such insurance and does not recommend any particular company. However, insurance companies offering travel insurance can be easily found by doing a web search for travel insurance or travel insurance bicycle touring.
